i really should be posting more frequently.
every day is the chance to change, right?
so here we go.

that’s what gorgeous girls are made of.

when she floated in like a butterfly
with like a star, i fell in love with her voice.
the more i listened & learned about her
i fell in love with her as a lyricist and a musician.

one morning, i heard on the news that
she’d lost the love of her life.
her husband of 8 years died suddenly.
death by “misadventure”.
then she vanished. understandably so.
She did a lovely interview with The Guardian,
discussing what’s been going on in her life,
her loss, and her return to music.

i’m glad she’s back with The Sea.
I particularly like i’d do it all again.
full of pain and healing. sadness and light.
this video proves why some songs
just NEED to be heard live.
